3rd October 1917

On this day:

  • Daily Activity   9th Btn. (North Irish Horse) the Royal Irish Fusiliers.


    Training continued as per the programme and preparation continued for sports. The Battalion football team drew with 108th Field Artillery (1 goal all) after a keen tussle.

    Major G.J Brew rejoined from a Senior Officers' Course at Aldershot and assumed the post of Second-in-Command of the Battalion.

    2Lt ASHLEY and 50 ORís proceeded to FARBUS to work under 170 Bde RFA other working parties, total 1 Officer and 107 ORís.
