230931 Pte. Thomas Fagan British Army 2nd Btn. Royal Dublin Fusiliers from:Dublin (d.29th March 1915) Thomas Fagan was my great grandfather and he was from Dublin, not Glasgow as suggested. He had two daughters, Rosemary and Annie. He had never seen Annie, who was just a few months old when he died. The family history is that he was hit and killed by a shell, and there is some suggestion that he was decapitated by that shell. He is buried at Ration Farm, on the outskirts of Ypres and on 29th March 2015 three generations of the family visited his grave on the 100th anniversary of his death.
