Pte. H Cadden

British Army 2nd/7th Btn. Royal Warwickshire Rgt.

(d.9th April 1917)

I am looking for information about Private Herbert (or Henry) Cadden. Does anyone have any information about him?

Additional Information:

Pte Herbert Cadden 265870 2nd/7th Royal Warwickshire Regiment was wounded 25th of July 1916. He was killed in action 9th of April 1917 at Fresnoy le Petit. He was 25 when he died, husband of Mrs Cadden of 42 Freeth St Coventry. He is buried in Chappelle British Cemetary Holnon. My grandad Frederick Lewis Bond was in the same battle as Hebert from war diares when they withdrew from Fresnoy le Petit they buried 11 soldiers of 2nd/7th Royal Warwickshire Regiment under cover of darkness. I think Herbert Cadden was 1 of those soldiers.
