B Arkins was born and enlisted in Dublin. He was killed in action in the Balkans

Bernard Arkins Was my great uncle and buried in Doiran I'm looking for information regarding the regiment, 6th Royal Dublin fusilers and photos of same he is 100 years in rest over seas without family To stand over him and pray I intend to be their on the 9th of December to join him and let him know that he is not forgotten Bernard my grandfather and their two brothers fought in the great War and we the Arkins family are so proud of them, William Arkins, Thomas Arkins, Bernard Arkins and Patrick Arkins

Bernard Arkins had 3 brothers Patrick Willam and Thomas all were involved in the First World War He is remembered on the Doiran memorial in northern Greece As his body was never found 101 years later on the 9 of December 2016 my self Brian Arkins his grand nephew and my 2sons stood over his place of remembrance and prayed for his soul

The Arkins family are proud of these young soldiers and will always have him in our hearts.
