William Taylor died aged 28, he was born in Jarrow in 1888 and was the son of John and Mary Jane Taylor (nee Forrest) of 45 Canon Cockin Street Hendon Sunderland. In the 1911 Census he is listed as William Taylor, age 23, an Iron Moulder in an Engineering firm, living with his parents John & Mary Jane Taylor & his 2 brothers at 5, Birch Street, Jarrow-on-Tyne
He enlisted in Sunderland and first served in France on the 30th of August 1915.
William is buried in Sunderland Ryhope (Ryhope Road) Cemetery.
