Pte. Thomas Henry Blight

British Army 5th Btn. Royal Berkshire Regiment

(d.26th Aug 1918)

I came across Pte Blight's death plaque in a junk shop. I believe he served with the 5th batt Royal Berkshire Reg.

Additional Information:

I now have Pte Thomas Henry Blight's Death Penny having acquired it on ebay. I am not related in any way whatsoever to Pte Blight but think his memory should be valued and not forgotten in some junk shop! He appeared to have joined Somerset Light Infantry initially as Pte 40768 but transferred to Princess Charlotte of Wales -Royal Berkshire Regiment- 5th Batt. KIA Flanders 26 September 1918 about 6 weeks before Armistice Day. Native of St Mawes, Cornwall and born St Just, Cornwall. God Speed Thomas.
